It pains me to say it, but the public needs to know.

I have a small business that started as a hobby and grew. I sell Ti-Pi Night Lights, and we have travelled the Pow Wow trail for years.

But with vendor registration getting ridiculously high, eg. Rama is now $400. I have made the difficult decision to stop travelling to Pow Wows and move my sales online.

Here is a breakdown of the costs for just one event:

Registration $400
Hotel $400
Food $300
Gas $150

Total $1,250

I’m lucky if I make $600, and the last time that happened was before COVID.

It is hard to understand when some of these casinos are bringing in $1 million a day, yet small businesses are being priced out of participating.

I am truly disappointed. We loved being on the Pow Wow trail and meeting all of you.
